ELLEN WILKINSON

With a career that spans painting and sculpture, I've built a reputation for imaginative series showcased in numerous solo and group exhibitions. Beginning as a painter, I found my artistic home in ceramics. Clay offers an almost infinitely changeable material which suits my process of exploration. Drawing on my academic training and experience as an educator I strive to create forms that balance technical mastery with intellectual depth.

I'm active in artistic communities in both New York and Virginia, and continue to evolve my craft through collaboration, teaching and creative exploration.
